Services are what make your business special. It's how you make money and what you offer to clients.
A service can be anything that you charge for that takes up a period of time. It can be anything from a consultation to a haircut or massage :)
Before you can make or accept appointments, you need to add services. Because Diarize Me manages clients and accounts we need to know the cost of a service as well as the duration before you can create an appointment.
To add a service, once logged in, click or tap on 'My business' on the left navigation panel:
A list of sub-menu items will expand. Click or tap on 'Services':
Once clicked or tapped, the Services screen will be displayed, listing all your previously added services as well as the ability to add new services.
To add a new service, click or tap on the '+ Add Service' button. Here, you will be able to specify the details of the service you want to add:
Service Name is whatever the service you're offering is called. An few examples of this would be: Pedicure, Leg Wax, Consultation, Manicure, Long Cut, Light Trim, etc
Service Category is an autocomplete field which will bring up a list of categories that you have added (if any). For a new Service Category, simply type whichever category the service belongs to. A few examples of this could be: Hair, Waxing, Mens Hair, Nails, etc
Service duration is how long this service would typically take you. This is used to set the appointment time when creating an appointment. It can be overwritten at the time of making the appointment.
Service Cost is the amount of money you charge for this service. When adding this service to an appointment, an account is opened or appended to in the clients name. This allows you to track which clients owe you money and run various business reports.
Client Interval is used in Scheduled Reminders and is used to send your clients reminder notifications if they haven'y visited you in the duration specified here.
Show Online allows you to show or hide this service from the Online Booking Widget, should you be making use of it.
Assigned Staff allows you to allocate which staff members are able to perform this service. Sometimes, not all staff members are qualified or have the relevant training to perform a service on a client.
Once you are happy with what you have entered, click or tap 'Save'. You will be taken back to the Services screen and should see your newly created service! :)
